Mentoring
Mentoring and tutoring
This is a voluntary initiative for those students that would like to explore the possibilities of working in small teams. The idea is to meet physically outdoors or at a café, and clarify questions or things that are not easy. The attendees have the responsibility to transmit this discussions among small groups (4 students) in private meetings online. I propose two meetings: in the first one to discuss the idea and clarify questions, and a second one where the tutors must explain how they have been working together in the groups, and which methods were effective. If the number exceeds the number of persons in Joensuu, then we will make arrangements.
Meetings in Joensuu
For students in Joensuu: Those students already in Joensuu and willing to take part can get registered by writing their names at this table. The maximum allocation is 6 students per meeting. The meetings will be 30 min. One student can get register only to two sessions maximum, to leave room for the rest. Instructions will be giving at the meetings about how to proceed in the online working groups.
For students overseas: Those students that are still overseas can benefit from working together in small groups with one tutor that has attended the meetings (see online working groups).

Online working groups
The online working groups will be made of one tutor, responsible of the group, and a maximum of 4 students. The agenda and meetings will be up to the tutor responsible. The objective is to discuss questions and doubts, and to be sure that all the information is available to all students, and there is fluent communication for those students overseas. The tutors should bring the questions and problems of the group of students to the meetings with the instructors. One student can only have one tutor.

Group questions
Most of the lectures have been recorded, but for questions or for lectures that could not be attended due to the time zone difference, there will be zoom meetings in small groups. Priority is given to students that are not in Joensuu and have difficulties to attend the lectures due to timezone differences. The sessions will be 30 min. The time table of the sessions will be updated according to availability.
