Title: Supporting Teachers in Unpredictable Robotics Learning Environments

Abstract:
In this presentation, I will present the main findings of my PhD work. In the research, we have developed Open Monitoring Environment to support teachers’ work in educational robotics classes. In particular, the OME supports teachers when they are facilitating students learning processes in unpredictable face-to-face learning settings. The OME uses an open data mining approach to allow the teacher to model, explore, and comprehend the learning processes and reasons behind the current phenomena in the classroom. In parallel with the development of the OME, we have devised a Conflative Learning Environment approach to guide the development of learning environments in dynamic and unpredictable settings.

11:45 - 12:00 William Madden & Anton Troynikov.

Demo: Geddit.
