Expansion of Coronavirus

Blas MOLA-YUDEGO

As everybody, I am very much concerned about the rapid expansion of the #COVID19. I am no epidemiologist, and there is little I can do myself about it, but to share my personal opinion and to tinker with the data to try to understand how the disease is expanding and how to better prepare us for that. I include the data sources and all figures I can produce, based on the resources available. I must take no responsability on that, as it is my individual work, but of course I try to apply the maximum rigous expected in academic works.

Current situation of the COVID19 cases, and trends. The colors represent the slope of the last four days, and it is coded as above 0.1 (dark red, exponential growth), above 0.01 (red, increase between linear and exponential) and green (flat increments, stable stituation). The map combines data from two main sources, worldometer.org and the ata Repository by Johns Hopkins CSSE (data).

Databases

Here there is a collection of databases at different levels, and datasets for research.
