Hi and welcome to my personal space. Here you're going to read briefly about my profile, academic journey, research interest, among others.

Brief Info

I am currently a doctoral student at the School of Computing, University of Eastern Finland. Before enrolling for the doctoral programme at the University of Eastern Finland, I  completed my Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Jos. I am a member of edTech research group, IMPDET-LE, and Finnish UniPID DocNet Researcher. I fully began my lecturing career at the Salem University Lokoja in 2018.  Before then, I have worked as the Head of ICT, Social Investment Programme, Lokoja, Kogi State, Nigeria.  For over 4 years, I have been developing web applications that cut across the financial management system, integrated payroll system, school, and student portals.

I have also organized tutorials for computer science students at higher institutions in Nigeria including Federal University Lokoja, where I co-taught Introduction to Computer Science, Digital Logic Design and Introduction to Programming (with Visual Basic and Java).

Research Interest

 My research interests span across educational technology, smart learning environment, computational thinking, problem-solving and algorithmic design. Currently, I am working on my Ph.D. research entitled: design and development of a smart learning environment for programming education.

My supervisors are  Dr. Solomon Sunday OyelereDr. Jarkko Suhonen, and Prof.  Markku Tukiainen
